Housing in Dusseldorf

Can anyone recommend a good source for rental homes? Family of 4 moving to dusseldorf. What is the best way to go about doing this? Are there any real estate company equivalents or services that assist expats? I have looked on-line at e-rent.de. Is this a reliable source? Will be in DE in June but plan to relocate in August for the start of school. Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated.
