Only one international school in Hamburg?

Hi!

I am considering taking a job in Hamburg (moving from the US, my home), and I have two children (ages 7 and 10).

From my internet searching, I can only find one international school in Hamburg (International School Hamburg). Is this really the only international school for this large city?

If so, I seek advice :). I have read mixed, mostly negative actually, reviews of the school. Also it is rather expensive... or else my software developer salary just isn't enough.

Any suggestions are welcome! I am even pondering the wisdom of doing just nine months of language classes in hopes that my children would then be able to go to normal German schools in 2011.
