I expect to move first to the Karlsruhe area and acclimate. Then I'm looking for some of the better places for english speaking people to work and live. Is it true that most of the simpler jobs are in the south half of Germany. I have no real education but I have done basically hotel, restaurant, car-rental clerk, painting and basic construction. Is it hard to have a work permit if I am not a doctor or engineer in Germany? I speak exceptional english and some island french (french pacific islander migrated from philippines). Also, I am as white like an Englander and I have heavy-metal style wavy longer hair that I usually have done professionally so I look like a glam-rock star. I also play 1980's rock guitar but not professionally. Someone said I should work in a CD-Record store or a music instrument shop. My first visa is for 3 months. I hope to make friends and have fun too. I am not afraid of the cold because I was in northern Japan sometimes. Cold is not bad.
