Germany discussion - I am appalled

Oh my word, I just read the posts about renting apartments in Germany and am totally appalled by the negativity and nastiness. This is supposed to be a site where people come to get help and support with moving to Germany, what was received was not necessary. There is a nice way of saying everything and if you find you have to be negative ALL the time you shouldn't be on this website, moving to another country is already a stress and added stress is not needed by negativity!! I lived in Germany for 5 years and moved into 2 apartments in that time, I lived in Karlsruhe and I never experienced no carpets or any type of flooring being ripped up, yes you would need cupboards and maybe a kitchen, but this is also not the norm, 90% of the time you can buy this from the previous tenants, it costs to fit an entire kitchen and rarely can you take it with you as it probably won't fit where you are going. If you are not happy with the arrangement, it's simple, keep looking. I didn't find moving a problem at all, in South Africa ALL apartments/houses have built in cupboards and kitchens, the owner also paints out the place for you before you move in, at his cost, Germany was different to what we were used to, but we accepted it, afterall we are now in another country and have to adapt to their ways. Germany is an amazing country to live in, it's child friendly, safe, practically crime free (well it was in Karlsruhe), it's well structured and the beauty and nature is breathtaking. Please don't only see the negatives, there are loads of positives too!!!!! There is negative and positive's in every country, it just depends which one you choose to harp on. Personally if you are negative about Germany you should not be living there!!!
