Summer work in Freiburg

I am an Irish college student and I've been learning German for over 6 years, however, I am not yet fluent...I'm really that after the summer I will be much closer :)
I am planning on traveling to Freiburg from the end of May to mid August and I'm just wondering how easy/difficult it would be for me to get a job over there for that period of time?
I have a great deal of bar experience and taught music and drama in a local school for a number of months so I'm hoping that that's helps.
Any information on accommodation (renting a room etc.) or anything to do with Freiburg in general would be much appreciated. Thanks :)
