Self-storage advice?

Hi. Moving to Karlsruhe at the end of January. I have a small apartment's worth of stuff, not big furniture. As my initial housing in Karlsruhe will be short-term, I am looking for self-storage units until I find a more permanent residence. But I seem to have hit a brick wall.. I can't even find listings for them. Do they exist in Germany? what is the German term for 'self-storage'? Thanks!
