Temporary relocation to Delhi, looking for suggestions!

Hi - I'm being relocated to Delhi through my company for six months, minimum. I'm looking for some advice/suggestions on what I need to see while I'm there, safety concerns, health concerns, and what's fun to do for a woman traveling alone and living in a hotel for six months!!
