Job Offer In Bangalore

My hubby has been offered a job in Bangalore. He was offered $9000.00 a mnth, housing, mobile and medical insurance and patrol, travel to and from the U.S. Is this a good offer? What do they mean by patrol? Can you home school there? Do they like americans? and any other info you could tell me would be great. They would like a decision no later then June 1. Do you have to a family visa?
