Ahmedabad - information please!

Hi,
My husband and I are currently considering a relocation from the UK to Ahmedabad. I have googled excessively, but would much prefer some inside knowledge! Where to live, schooling for my 8 & 9 year old, what would I do all day, taxes, the list is endless! THe move probably wouldn't be until next year, but we need to start making some decisions. Please help!
