schooling for a 7 year old in bangalore

Hi,

We are currently based in the UK and moving back to Bangalore for good. We would be staying in the Whitefeild area and are looking for a school around there. Since we are moving for good we are not very keen on an international school. We will be back in april-may 2008. Could some one suggest as to how dows one go about the admissions.
