Housekeeping Communication

I am working with a couple who will move to Mumbai and live in an upperclass neighborhood.

Is there anything I should inform them of when communicating with their housekeeping staff? How is it different than in the US?

Also, the woman will not be working so what is the best way for her to make friends?
