from Australia to Mumbai - salary and rental

Hi,
Please could any let me know if a drop from a salary an annual salary in Australia of AU$60000/- (equivalent to INR 25,20,000) to a salary in India of INR9,00,000 (AU$21,500) for the same job position - a reasonable situation?
Also, any suggestions/advice if INR 75,000 per month sufficient for a single lady. I note that after removing taxes I will be getting just INR24,000 per month. Can I even afford an apartment with such an income? My workplace will be based in Worli - where do I live in such situation?
