Living in Kerala

Hi,
I am an Aussie looking for somewhere I can live that is safe, surrounded by mountains and valleys of rainforest and wildlife and friendly people, where I can live cheaply, where it is warm to hot all year round, minimal humidity, clean air and still get a good latte and muffin (lol).
I would love to hear from any westerners who have moved to Kerala and who wish to share their experience.
