Hello to the person who wrote about dark skin in India. I want to know if the people were rude to you because of your dark skin? If you are a descendent of India with the skin, why would you be looked at differently. I thought most there were of dark skin anyway?
I am a professional nurse educator making plans to travel to India to teach at a nursing college in Vijayawada. Wondering how I will be received as an African American. In my profession surely I don't look at color or I would never have made over 35 years wanting to pick my patients. As an educator, I have had students from India and they did not seem prejudice, but they were under my tuft...USA...not sure about the reception in India. I want to tour a few days in Mumbai before heading on to the rural area, also tour Hyderabad. Please give me your honest comments and anyone else reading this....add your comments.
