Becoming an Estate Agent

I have had my brokers license to sell real estate in Massachusetts (USA) for years. Does anyone know the requirements for doing the same in Italy? What are the professional requirements? Are these qualifications controlled by national or regional policy. I have dual citizenship (US/Italy). I've had difficulty getting info on this topic. I'd appreciate being pointed in the right directions. Thanks!
