Surviving in Roma

Can anyone tell me, is it possible to for a single woman to move to Italy (preferably Roma) without being fluent in Italian? I have visited o few times & love Rome, but I don't really spek the language. i would love to immerse myself & study the language at the same time...but, are there any jobs for English only speakers??? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
