Giving birth in Sassari

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone has had a baby in Sassari recently and can tell me what their experience was. I have read about peoples experiences in other areas of Italy but none in Sardinia. Just generally how the maternity unit is, shared rooms, how long they keep you, what drugs are offered etc. Anything would be great, it's due in feb so I have plenty of time yet!
