Droppping eveything and moving to Sicily

Hi Everyone! I just got introduced to this site, and it's great! So after about 10 years of procrastinating, and putting my dream on hold, I have finally decided to pursue it and I'm moving to my parents homeland, Sicily! I'm very excited, but also worried at the same time, partly because of all the negative talk, and partly because I'm not sure what to expect once I'm there (for real and not for vacation...you know what I mean!!) I just want to be immersed in that italian magic....:)
So if anyone has any helpful advice, it will be greatly appreciated.
Oh and by the way...I'm moving in 30 days :)
