Citizenship for Children

My brother is considering dual citizenship. (I have mine.) Will his children and grandchildren have to submit separate paperwork, i.e., do the whole process of submitting each separately, or will they be included in his application? How much separate work will be needed for them to get citizenship?
Thanks.
