Vacation Home & First Time Home Purchase

Hi there - very grateful for this forum.

I am a dual Italian/United States citizen living in the United States. I plan to buy a vacation home in Italy. If I buy another property there in the future as my permanent residence will it be considered my first time home purchase?

Note that I have an Italian passport, am registered with AIRE and have an Italian tax code. I have not already declared permanent residency in Italy.
