inernational school florence

hi. my family is thinking of moving to italy for a year from the US. I have three kids- two middle schooler and one lower schooler. They have been admitted to the International School in Florence and the American School in Rome. If you happen to know these schools academically, can you please advise which might be better? which city might provide for a more wonderful year abroad? I'd love to know that academically, both places are good.
