carpenter / handyman

Hello. I spent 3 months last year in Italy through a gig I landed with workaway .info I also have some friends living in Italy who are Expats from the U.S. and Native Italian friends. I want to move to Italy. I do not have a lot of money but I do have the contacts resources and a place to stay for awhile should it seem feasible. Would my 20+ years as a carpenter be an asset and a need in Italy that it would be helpful to advance my cause so to speak? Thanks!
