Moving Back To Italy

Hi all!! Trying to figure out tax implications on US pensions…can anyone explain how they are handling this as us retirees in Italy? I am an Italian citizen and not sure that I will be able to protect myself from local tax liabilities if I declare local residency so maybe I should not do so? Any insights on this???
