I'm new to the forum and have been catching up on all the great posts. There's so much valuable information here!
I'm in the process of moving to Italy. My first step will be applying for a permesso di soggiorno to establish residency for a few months while I apply for my citizenship. Meanwhile, I'm working on improving my language skills here in the States and looking for some good immersion schools/courses in Italy.
I'm planning to establish residency in a smaller, southern municipality—somewhere that's not too small but still has English speakers, a language school and a good vibe. I've traveled all over Italy for both business and pleasure, and I have to say... every part of this country is amazing.
Does anyone have suggestions for a 3-4 month stay in a place they've had great experiences? I'm doing my research and due diligence, but I'd love to hear from others who have been through this.
