Hi there! I am a high school teacher who will retire in May 2025 - can't wait! My husband and I are interested in living/retiring abroad. We plan to stay 1-3 months in different locations until we find a place that we both love. Based on research, I've learned that France is expat-friendly and we will consider visiting next year. Fortunately, in two weeks, we are going to Puglia! Any opinions or comparisons of southern France and southern Italy are welcome.
