Hello... I am an Italian American. All 4 of my grandparents emigrated from Italy over 100 years ago and my paternal grandfather never became a US Citizen. So, I qualify for Italian Citizenship as well. I'm working out the details now, but am thinking about retiring to Southern Italy (either Calabria or Puglia) for the inexpensive cost of living and substantial tax benefits. I've heard that these regions in Italy have become increasingly expensive, so I'd love to get feedback from current residents.
