Teaching in Aqabar, Jordan - a question

We're possibly thinking of moving from the UAE to Aqabar - teaching.

Is a combined salary of JD2500 enough for a couple to live on and yet still save money? We would also receive JD7000 housing allowance, per annum and JD1000 in freight allowance (one-off).

Also, what's the cost of living like, generally? Could it be compared to the UAE?

Lastly, is the any information on schools with a multinational gem ?
