Property Purchase Info

Hi there Folks,

Does anyone know of a relaible source, or indeed themselves, as to whether it is permitted for non kazakh nationals to purchase residential property in Kazakhstan? I am British, as is my son . I wish however to purchase property in mine or his (or his gaurdian's) name. (He has family in Kaz)

I have it from a Kaz source that I cannot and will have to give them the money to buy it in their name, then they are legally allowed to gift it to us .....sounds a bit risky ! I thought the land laws had changed?
