Single scene in Kuwait???

I'm new to Kuwait and will be here for at least the next two years. I was wondering what kind of scene there is here, and how to get involved in it? I'm also interested in windsurfing and fishing. Where are the reccomended places for that as well?
As far as nightlife, I know that there are many "private" parties that happen. I was wondering what the best way to find that scene is.
Also, as an American, I was wondering if anyone knew what the deal with the Embassy Bar is? I head there are certain hours for non-embassy workers. How do I get "invited" and what's the scoop on having a nice cold one?
