Visiting Kuwait in January 2007

I am coming to Kuwait to visit my fiancee. However, he will have to work most days while I am there. Since this is my first visit, and I'm sure not wise to have a single female wondering the streets of Kuwait, I am hoping to meet and connect with an American woman (or group of women) that can show me around the sites of Kuwait. I would hate to be stuck in a hotel the whole time. My travel dates aren't set in stone but look like it will be around the 18th to the 30th of January 2007.
