Holding Hands In Public

My wife and I are moving to Kuwait in several months. I've read that Kuwaitis frown on public displays of affection. What is considered taboo/offensive? Can married people hold hands/hug or should we avoid all of that?

Also, if you have any tips on daily living, we'd appreciate those.
