Question for Americans, Brits, Aussies

Does it feel safe there now. Lots of news stories from 2005 speaking of terrorist activities or potential for these activities in Kuwait. I'm just pondering the safety of accepting a contract there and I don't go anywhere without my wife and daughter. Thanks for any opinions.
