Job offer in Kuwait

Hey, I just got offered a job at Kuwait Bilingual School in Al Jahra City. I'd be teaching drama, something I really want to do! The contract they offered me isn't great, $24,000USD a year but I'm negotiating for more. (I have my Master's degree and prior experience.)

I really can't find out anything about the city, school or country! What's the dress code like? Exactly how expensive is it really? I live in Korea now where you can pretty much do anything you want. The people are friendly, maybe too friendly and the cost of living is really low.

I'm from Hawaii so I love the sun, the beach and being active outdoors. Do you think I would like it there or should I look for something else?
