How cold does it get?

Hi everyone

How cold does it get in the winter. I can see that the temp has been dropping to about 10C/50F but how cold does that feel. I'm assuming the houses/appartments don't have any form of heating like here in the UK so can it feel really cold? Would we need to bring a portable heater?
