I've fallen in love with a Moroccan man and though we're taking things slowly, I'm curious about how life would be as an expat Western woman in Marrakech. I love the city, but I'm concerned that I'll not find a network of expats to chill out with. I know myself well enough to be sure I'll not try to become a traditional Moroccan wife - if we ever get that far - and my boyfriend says he wouldn't want me to. But I don't know how big the expat community is there, and I don't know if the things I take for granted here in the Netherlands will be available to me over there. Are there special expat clubs, sports clubs and things like that? And does anybody know a reliable estate agent for a long-term rental?
