Artists, Studios?

Hi, I am a first time poster to these forums. I was wondering if someone could give me an insight into where there may currently be a colony of artists and writers in Morocco. Which part to they tend to go? I aim to stay apart from the commercial side so to speak, but more serious about the nature of their work. I would ideally like to rent an artists studio, live well and have the ability to make connections with those already there. Thank you in advance for any advice on my journey.
