This is a confusing question. Please help

Just wondering if anyone can help?

A little background,

I am English living in UK. Last year I worked in America for a year at an engineering company. While working in America I met an English girl living in America (UK citizenship, but with a green card).

Here is the big question

If she wanted to come and live and work in UK for a year would she have any problems returning to the states on her original green card? She is 24years old.
