International schools OUTSIDE central KTM?

We're an expat family living out of town, but may need to move to Kathmandu or Pokhara in search of western-style international schooling for our son, who is ready to start 1st year schooling. Nepali system schools just don't work for him. Unfortunately, we only know of international schools in the heart of KTM and Pokhara, and we are committed to living OUT of town, or at least on the edges, for our health and health of mind. Are any of you aware of any international or western-style schools on the edges of either city or even better in smaller places?

i'll be so surprised if anyone says "yes" !
