I am considering in the future moving to lahore. I would be coming as a single female. I am not worried about the Islamic hassle thing and have survied well in eygypt, turkey, jorden and saudi arabia- so know how not to draw attention to myself. However what is the security sitaution like? do you feel safe? Would i be able to get a driver easily ( who can translate and knows the ropes, and where is good to go) ?
My husband is worried about this move. He was happy when i did one year unaccompanied to Saudi arabia- but says Pakistan is not safe- I do not agree that I would any more at risk of being bombed than in London- am I right?
