Please help plan my trip! cheep

I have 10-12 days landing in Panama city for my first time. I'm renting a car, and want to drive a circle. and explore the country, and find towns to possibly love to live in.
I need recommendations to stay in a sweet, little, earthy, or charming, CHEEP place for 3 days and move on.
As for me, and where I'd like to live....well I'm a 'free spirit earthy single woman, love the caribbean vibe, and not into pretense, but do love simple elegance, art, old things A nature lover , swimming, not surfing, calm water, or lakes.
I have some trouble walking....so no hiking or toooo rough roads. Prefere the weather not tooo hot for tooo long
so please help plan my trip! Thanks
