Another Discovery Trip

My wife and I will be coming to Panama sometimes during the later half of 2011 for a vacation and exploring trip for a possible retirement relocation. (Working on a 5 year plan so I know that its a little early). I know each persons idea of heaven is different but we are wanting some suggestions of areas to investigate when we come. Boquette seems interesting from what we have read but we are also interested in beaches with less rain (we know it rains alot), moderate temperature with some expatriates. Any suggestions for us to investigate would be appreciated. I'm not sure this exists.
