where to live in panama

hi,
i am looking for a new country to live in and have narrowed down to Costa Ricca , Panama and Brazil. basically want to be surrounded by mountains and valleys of rainforest and beaches. also want to be surrounded by people who care enough to protect the enivironment, not destroy or over develop it.
I am researching Panama but would like advice from those living there, where i can find these mountains and valleys of forest and where i can buy a home for uner $200k. is it still possible?
