When we go we stay at the Villa Marina, right on Venao Beach. It's a B&B with pool, bar, peace, beauty, and the friendliest people! Prices have gone down there likely due to competion. If you are into ecotourism, try the Eco Lodge, also at Venao. As for eating, well! Have a burger at the new Sitio, the surfer hangout at Venao. They also offer rooms.
