Investment and Social Security

I am relocating to Panama in the next few months and doing some investing there in a small business or two with a local native friend of mine also.I am applying for a "pensionado"visa.I would like to know if any earned income i might make from investing in Panama will affect what i am now receiving from my monthly Social Security income?
