Planning a trip to Contadora

Hi
Wondering if anyone can give me useful info on going to isla contadora. I am on a shoestring but want to make the most of the whale watching.

Any ideas on where to stay for nights, it has to be clean.
I believe there is a ferry that goes for $70 return from Thursday to Monday via the sealasperlas ferry.

Are there any tours anyone can recommend or a fisherman whom can take us out. There are 5 of us in a group.
