I recently relocated to PTY from Florida and still awating for my Pansionado
Visa to be fully approved.
I am reistered and just got my muti visa.However,when i did apply for my pensinado here in early August i was not informed that until i received my multi visa i was not supoosed to leave Panama withhout it.So not knowing this i returened to Florida in early August and finally relocated to PTY on Agust 31.Now my Lawyer here in PTY has informed me ,the day upon my arrival hereAugust, that i may be subject to a $2,000 fine for leaving the country without aquiring the multi visa before.A few day's after returning back to PTY i applied for and received($100 fee) my multi visa.My laywer also mentioned at this time that when i receive my full pensionado in another month or so my passport enry stamp on August 31 coud bring attention and thust a fine.
I was told there is a new Panama immigration head that is now enforcening this law that was overlooked in the past?
