Greeting all,
I plan to come to Panama in June 2012 on a fact finding trip. I am looking for ideas on what might be the perfect place for me so I can visit them when I come. I don't want to live on the beach but want to be close enough to visit. I don't want to live in a total ex-pat community but being a single female I would like to be somewhat close for the support. I don't want to own a car. I would rather walk to the market and interact with the locals and take a bus into the city when I needed to go. I am a disabled vet and my income is $1300 per month. Everything I have read on this site makes me believe that I would be very happy in Panama. I hope to relocate before December 2012.
