We vacationed in Panama in February for two weeks. The reason we went was because we had been talking to the people at Costa Pedasi and Andromeda in Pedasi so we wanted to take a look. I was surprised at how expensive it is. At both lots on the ocean are $400K plus maybe another $400K for a house. $800K for a house in Panama!!!!
Off the water two rows in the lots are around $165 plus the cheapest house is $ 200 for 1400 SF.
I think we will do what people have suggested and rent for a year to determine where we want to be, but I wanted to get opinions on these projects. they are in gated communities which is good if you are going to be away a while, but is there something you can buy outside a gated community and not have to worry about the contents still being there when you get back?
