Easy to move?

My parents are planning on retiring in Panama and I was wondering how hard it would be for me to obtain residency/the right to work, and if its feasible that I could find a job? I work in the insurance industry currently for a Fortune 500 health insurance company and I am an American citizen...I have no clue how the laws are or what immigrations is like. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!
