I'm renting a spot for my 30' trailer in Santiago for $60/mo and was wondering if anyone knew if there are any commercial "trailer park" type places in Panama. I recall someone said there is one somewhere near Coronado. Seems like my arrangement - just park it by the side of a private residence - is more the norm (another American nearby did the same).
I had to go buy a 20' hose to connect to the septic tank and use a regular orange [15amp] construction extension cord for power. It's ok here, the only significant disadvantage parked under a mango tree is for 3 weeks out of the year it rains mangos (need to move the trailer out of the way to avoid bombardment), and water during 'dry season' falls to a tiny trickle in the afternoons.
BTW Lito (neighbor-landlord) probably has enough space for 1 or 2 more trailers, you can PM me if you have an RV and are looking for a place.
